Junior Canine Behaviourist:
Oakwood are looking for experienced Dog Trainers and/or Behaviourists to join our team.Your role will include:
- Puppy, basic & advanced obedience training
- Puppy and adult socialisation
- Behaviour assessments
- Conducting both 121 and group training classes
The applicant should have proven experience with either or both:
- Basic obedience training
- Working with behavioural issuses
- Knowledge of dog behaviours and play styles
What we’re looking for in you:
- Proven experience working with obedience and/or dogs that have behavioural issues, ie aggression or anxiety
- Animal based qualifications up to degree level
- Good communication skills with clients
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Natural confident, passionate manner is essential as you will be working with dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes.
- Committed & hard-working individual who is willing to learn and expand their knowledge and skills
- Willingness to learn
- Full & clean license
- Your own vehicle
